Sara Hite Garden is just one example of the parks in Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory

Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory is home to many community, county and state parks. Bring a blanket and a picnic dinner to Canby, Lake Oswego and Oregon City parks in the summer and listen to free music concerts. Just check the events calendar for performance schedules.

Many of our parks are adjacent to rivers and provide access for swimming, fishing, boating and other watersports, while others have miles of hiking trails throughout. And, you'll find a very special park just outside of Sandy - Oral Hull Park for the Blind - a 23-acre park and camp for the visually impaired.
