Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory is located in the Northwest corner of the State of Oregon (near Portland). A strong ground transportation network inclusive of Interstate 5, Interstate 205, Interstate 84 and Highway 26 make ground access to the Mt. Hood Territory convenient and efficient. Most Oregon State and US maps detail how the Territory intersects with these major arterials. The same is true of air transportation. The northern boundary of the county is located just ten miles south of the Portland International Airport, the region's primary airport. Portland International is serviced by 17 passenger carriers including Air BC, Alaska Airlines, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Hawaiian, Horizon, Lufthansa, Mexicana, Northwest, Southwest and United. Specific flight information can be accessed by visiting the Portland International Airport web site at www.portlandairportpdx.com. |
