Amazing scenic views abound on the trails through out Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory

From wooded urban trails like those found in Mary S. Young State Park to the heights of the Cascades on the Pacific Crest Trail, Oregon's Mt. Hood Territory has hundreds of miles of trails for every hiker's skill level. Choose from trails that take you through lush canopied forests, alongside rushing streams, or up steep hillsides where you are rewarded with spectacular views or a crystal clear mountain lake.

Mt. Hood is one of the most popular mountains in the Cascades to climb with most climbers taking off from Timberline Lodge for the trek to the top of the 11,245 ft. peak. Northwest Mountain Guides in Clackamas, 503-698-1118 offers basic instruction and guided summit attempts.
